In the last few years, some regions launched local dialect television programs one after another, which have broken the Chinese traditional news pattern of broadcasting. More and more people take to watching dialect television programs in that they are able to make the audience produce psychological cognition easily with abundant local idioms and vivid language style. Dialect television program is turning into our lives in a strong and forceful way. The Dialect Room Director Zhou Lei, from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of languages, thinks that this phenomenon is an inexorable trend. The unicity of Mandarin brought Public Aesthetic Fatigue, which has caught the lack of interest and intimacy. In this case, dialect television programs are like a breath of fresh air, lively bringing another kind of 'popular literature or art' enjoyment to the public.

In this case, this thesis is designed to study the features of dialect television program in multi-dimensional perspectives, including cognitive linguistics, social pragmatic, dialectology etc., in order to deeply analyze the linguistic features of dialect television programs and the reasons why they can make the audience produce psychological cognition easily.

On the other hand, with the increasing popularity influence of these television programs, some people raised some objection. They believe that dialect is so vulgar that dialect television programs will eventually arouse conflicts between dialect culture and Mandarin Chinese culture. They argue for abolishing dialect television programs.

Hence, this thesis also studies the indispensable role of dialect television programs in the process of cultural protection and inheritance, so as to demonstrate the lopsidedness of some people''s opinion that dialect is vulgar and their boycott against dialect television program. What''s more, this thesis is also aimed at appealing to public concern and support for dialect television programs because they play a significant role in cultural protection and inheritance.

3. 国内外研究现状

In the last few years, some regions launched local dialect television programs one after another, which have broken the Chinese traditional news pattern of broadcasting. The rise of so many dialect TV programs has caused the attention of the academic circles, and the research mainly concentrates on three aspects, namely culturology, communication and linguistics. Overall, the percentage of works or thesis that study dialect TV programs from muti-dimensional perspectives is quite small. And the reality of the research on dialect TV programs is focused on solving the problems occurring during the development course of itself, such as single layer of the audience, territorial limitation of the dialect television program, the lack of talented hosts for dialect television program, the vulgarization problem caused by popularization and so on. But in addition to these problems mentioned above, there is a problem usually ignored by many scholars, that is the positioning of dialectal TV programs in the public mind vary from person to person. In another world, their opinion about dialectal TV programs is mixed. And there is few research and solution in this aspect.

What''s more, in the area of dialectology, the effective dissemination of the dialect is an important research direction. Many researchers have carried out a lot of fruitful research, and there are many mature theory has been applied to the practical application.
