1. 研究目的与意义

As a very important part of people#8217;s daily life, movie is a popular and influential medium. With the development of globalization, more and more Chinese movies are introduced to foreign countries; people from all over the world now have easy access to get to know China culture through Chinese movies. Therefore C_E movie title translation from cultural perspective is very important since they give potential foreign audience the first impression. A good translation of Chinese movie title can help people from all over the world better understand Chinese culture，promote cultural exchange, and create great commercial value.

2. 研究内容和预期目标

The first part of my paper is about the brief introduction of my study, including the purpose、significance and structure of my paper.

In the second part, the profile of Chinese movie title will be introduced, including movie genres, naming approach of Chinese movie titles, and features of Chinese movie title.

In the third part, my paper will focus on the relationship between culture and Chinese movie title, which is the most important part. And how culture influences C_E movie title translation.

3. 国内外研究现状

In recent years, more and more Chinese researchers and scholars focus on the C_E movie title translation, but only a few of them can study the translation of Chinese movie title from the cultural perspective. For example, Li Wei, Xiao Yin-Yin, Zhang Ting-Bo, Shao Jue-Ru and so on, they express different kinds of strategies of translating Chinese movie title with cultural factors; take the translation principals and standards into consideration; analyze how culture affects the translation ofChinese movie titles and how the culture can be reflected in movie titles.

In foreign countries, few foreign scholars study on the C_E movie title translation from cultural perspective, but some of them put forward some good suggestions for strategies of translating movie title, and the relationship between culture and translation.
