They believe that Christianity advocates freedom and equality, advocates individualism and advocates personal struggle.This classic Hollywood movie, as a typical inspirational story, shows us the mainstream cultural values of western countries.The Pursuit of Happyness has a huge international influence when it is showed in 2006. Through its in-depth analysis, it is possible to gain a general understanding of the cultural background of American film in order to better understand American cultural values. The significance of the topic: To better understand Western values, watching English movies would be a good way . Hollywood is a symbol of contemporary American culture, a microcosm.It can largely reflect the characteristics of American culture.The Pursuit of Happyness not only succeeds in the perspective of film, but also has great research value in responding to American cultural values.
