Virginia Woolf is the first female writer who debated and established the aim for feminist literature. Advised women to use the identity of androgynous creation, opposed to the male hegemony, promote gender equality, the idea of social harmony, have a profound impact on the world of feminist literary theory.

This thesis intends to explore the feminism view reflected in #8220;A Room of One#8217;s Own#8221;. It is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is a brief introduction to Virginia Woolf, her living environment, and her work #8220;A Room of One#8217;s Own#8221;. This chapter also summarizes the studies on #8220;A Room of One#8217;s Own#8221; and feminism at home and abroad in the recent years. In Chapter Two, I will sketch the development of feminism and discuss about Virginia Woolf#8217;s unique feministic perspective. Chapter Three is focused on an analysis of the text of #8220;A Room of One#8217;s Own#8221;. The influences of Woolf#8217;s feminism on later generations are also commented in this chapter. The last chapter is the conclusion of the thesis, which sums up the feminist Interpretation of Virginia Woolf#8217;s Feminism in Her #8220;A Room of One#8217;s Own#8221;, give suggestions for the future study and analyze the feminism in nowadays Chinese society.
